At approximately 12:26 this afternoon, my mother will be arriving here in Nassau from Boston! My dad and I will be at the airport to meet her (assuming of course we can figure out the whole bus route thing...) We are very, very excited for her return. Life on White Seal has been very different in the past weeks without her.
Tomorrow we will be pulling up anchor and leaving Nassau for the Exumas! My friends on Sisu went down there yesterday and I am hoping to reconnect with them in a few days down there. Our first stop will be Allan's Cay, a small island known for it's large iguana population. We will continue southward, taking our time and enjoying the swimming/ snorkeling that the area is famous for. I probably won't have Internet for a while, but I will try my hardest to post ASAP.
Happy New Year from everyone on White Seal!
So, so very glad to hear that Meg is coming back to the White Seal. A very happy new year, indeed.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes from the 'hood on Sand Road.

ReplyDeleteHey Mary,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your Mom with us! I know she was very eager to get back to White Seal and her sea-faring family, so I'm glad she made it back to you yesterday! (Tell her thanks for calling from Nassau!) We miss her already here in Massachusetts but we know that you three are happy to be together and continuing with your fabulous adventure!
